(βουλεύσεως γραφή). An impeachment for conspiracy. In this case βουλεύσεως is the abbreviated form of ἐπιβουλεύσεως, and is the name for two very different actions at Attic law. (1) An action for conspiracy against life, and instituted (a) by the person attacked, if competent, or by his or her legal patron (κύριος); or (b) if the plot succeeded, by near kinsmen or the κύριος.
